For a housewarming/birthday gift, my friend Lina gave me some blooming tea. I understood the basic idea of it, but only recently had a chance to try it. So much fun! Here’s how it looks (close up below). It starts out as a ball and you just drop it in the hot water and let it expand into this beautiful display. So you really must do it in a clear teapot. This particularl tea had a light flowery flavor. Thank you, Lina!
